We are happy to announce that Felix Raffel has composed some additional film music for the first episode of the series Babylon Berlin. The series is available on the Sky Network and will be broadcasted on ARD later this year.
The Story Line: A metropolis in turmoil. From economy to culture, politics to the underworld – everything is in the grip of radical change. Speculation and inflation are already tearing away at the foundations of the still young Weimar Republic. Growing poverty and unemployment stand in stark contrast to the excesses and indulgence of the city’s night life and its overflowing creative energy. Gereon Rath, a young police inspector from Cologne, is transferred to Berlin in order to solve a criminal case – a porno ring run by the Berlin Mafia. What at first glance appears to be simply a matter of extortion soon reveals itself to be a scandal that will forever change the lives of both Gereon and his closest associates. Together with stenotypist Charlotte Ritter and his partner Bruno Wolter, Rath is confronted with a tangled web of corruption, drug dealing, and weapons trafficking, forcing him into an existential conflict as he is torn between loyalty and uncovering the truth. Wir freuen uns zu verkünden, dass Felix Raffel zusätzliche Film Musik für die erste Episode der Serie Babylon Berlin komponiert hat. Die Serie ist derzeit auf Sky zu sehen und wird Ende des Jahres im ARD übertragen.

We are Happy to announce that Ingo Ludwig Frenzel has composed the music for the new ZDF Movie “Katie Fforde: BruderHerz” A Romantic movie directed by Sebastian Grobler and written by Arndt Stüwe.

The Storyline: Asperger-patient Anthony Cahill can’t stay in his trusted specialized seaside home Morningwood when his devoted father dies suddenly, leaving no trust fund, so his elder sister Lauren Cahill, who left home years ago to become an independent order photographer in Boston with little success, must take him in her small apartment.

We are happy to announce that since “Phoenix” got released in 2015 it has been shown at more than 50 film festivals and won 16 movie awards, one of them being the best foreign film at the 11th HOLLYSHORTS FILM FESTIVAL, California, USA. The movie Phoenix is directed by Florian Frerichs and the film score is composed by Ingo Ludwig Frenzel. In the tradition of science fiction like ‘Fahrenheit 451’ or ‘Brave New World’, ‘Phoenix’ tells the story of a man coming to his senses after a young woman makes him realize the true nature of the world they are living in.

Der Film Phoenix entstand unter der Regie von Florian Frerichs. Ingo Ludwig Frenzel komponierte die Filmmusik. In der Tradition der Science-Fiction wie “Fahrenheit 451” oder “Schöne neue Welt” erzählt “Phoenix” die Geschichte eines Mannes, der zur Besinnung kommt, nachdem eine junge Frau ihn die wahre Natur der Welt, in der sie leben, erkennen lässt.

The story plays out in the January 30th 1933 – the day Hitler comes to power – and the German-Jewish family Glickstein comes together for a family dinner.

We are proud to announce that the movie “Santa Maria”, which Felix Raffel has composed the film music for, has been announced as one of the winners at the “Short Tiger 2017” and therefore will be invited to the international premier of the short film, taking place in the International Film Festival in Cannes. You can watch a compilation video of the winning movies here – including “Santa Maria” . Here´s the storyline: A man who receives a treasure map by accident is now looking for the treasure. Whilst searching, he has to deal with gangsters, a devious widow, a corrupt policeman and a pretty female police officer

Have a look for yourself, if you dare.  The storyline: When Ayden (Bruno Eyron) arrives at a deserted church in the forest, he meets the strange Doctor Faber (David Gant) who offers him some food, if Ayden promises to serve the next meal. While both men are having a BBQ, a young girl (Xenia Assenza) enters the church, searching for her sister. Dr. Faber offers her some food, if she promises to provide for the next meal…
